American Stillness is a work in progress.
American Stillness is me photographing what’s already been photographed, listening for what the ghosts forgot to say. America turns 250, photography 186, and I’m still out here trying to see it for the first time, moving quietly while the country shouts.
Sometimes it even feels like I might be one of the last photographers using a camera as a witness.
