More Coming! I haven't put everything up yet. Sorry film section.
Aux: In the 1700s a young French girl named Adrienne disguised herself as a cabin boy named Petit Jean to follow her lover to the New World. She died atop the mountain that now bears her name, and legend says her spirit traveled to the Ozarks, fusing with the mossy rocks to become Aux Ox, a mythical figure locals honor with offerings of food and love stories.
:nôrˈmalədē: Set in the hills of the Ozarks during Covid19, the film offers a poetic exploration of fear, innocence, imagination, and isolation. Like most of Wilson's previous films, /nôrˈmalədē/ is moody and slow moving with no dialogue. Instead, Wilson uses centuries old compositional devices and lighting techniques to create visual storytelling. Music by @cellophanegarden.
10 Minutes: Motionless like a photograph. For ten minutes do not move, only breathe. A photograph captures a moment in time, balancing light, depth, and duration. The shutter measures time, aperture shapes perception, and ISO marks sensitivity. Time itself is only what we perceive.
